Our story

A studio shaped by reuse

Founded by Arvind Rao, the studio was built around careful garment remodelling rather than fast turnover. The aim is to extend the life of clothing through considered alterations and upcycling.

What began as a focused tailoring practice has developed into a studio for redesigning garments with usable fabric, strong construction, and wearability in mind.

We work with vintage pieces, sentimental garments, and clothing that needs a fresh shape. Some projects call for subtle fit updates, while others benefit from a fuller redesign or accessory-making approach.

Because every garment is different, we keep the process transparent from the first review through collection. That helps set realistic expectations for the result, the timeline, and any materials that may need to be sourced separately.

How we approach every piece

Our work suits customers who want to keep clothing in use for longer, update the fit of a favourite piece, or turn fabric into something new and practical.

Assessment first

We start with the garment itself. Fabric condition, seam allowances, construction, and requested fit all guide what is possible before any final quote is given.

Approval at every step

Redesign work is approved in stages. If additional work or material changes are needed, we confirm them before moving ahead so the project stays clear and controlled.

Fit checked on pickup

We check the finished piece again at collection and handle small final adjustments carefully. The goal is a considered finish that matches the agreed design.

Material matching

Whenever available, we aim to match original thread and trim so the result feels cohesive. If a close match is not available, we discuss the options openly before proceeding.
